Summer Tour 2025

This season of sun, kick back. Relax. Lend an ear to the sterling musicianship of an American acoustic icon in "An Evening with James Taylor and His All-Star Band" with special guest Tiny Habits. The award-winning singer-songwriter set his fanbase abuzz after confirming his next North American tour, now extended to over forty shows hitting both coasts. The second leg of this trip kicks off three nights in Vienna and a two-night homecoming in Boston, bringing us here to Bridgeport, CT, on August 29, 2025, for a Friday special at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater.

He is the sensitive voice of the 1970s that inspired a multigenerational wave of introspective artistry. Rock & Roll and Songwriters Hall of Famer James Taylor and his All-Star Band invite us to retrace music history through a career that has sold over 100 million units worldwide. His upcoming acoustic session will revolve around some of his most influential work, which include the seminal breakout single "Fire and Rain" and the Billboard No. 1 hit "You’ve Got A Friend," which also earned Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 1972 GRAMMYs.

Taylor’s legacy is an exhibit of unparalleled songwriting excellence that brought ‘60s post-Depression anxieties into a state of calm and reassurance. Through the years, he eased the nation with Adult Contemporary chart-toppers such as "Shower the People" and "Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" and eventual soft rock standards like "Sweet Baby James," "Mexico," "Carolina in My Mind," "Your Smiling Face," and "Something in the Way She Moves." Let him reintroduce you to these classics, paired with covers of Otis Blackwell’s "Handy Man" and Marvin Gaye’s "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)," up to the GRAMMY-clinching comeback of his latest album, American Standard (2020). Vocal harmony trio Tiny Habits, meanwhile, offers young folk-pop vitality to the legend’s evening in an opening set that highlights their recent debut LP, All For Something, featuring fast-track hits "Malleable," "Mudroom," and "Wishes."
