Onward & Upward Summer Tour 2025

Coming hot off the heels of the Sessanta tour alongside A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, the legendary trio of Primus is slated to hit the road with their mind-bending sound, offbeat lyrics, genre-defying and boundary-pushing creativity, and a whole lot of renewed energy! 

Primus, who is constantly revolutionizing themselves and their sound, is slated to bring their ever-so-famous trippy, funky, mind-blowing lesson in jamming to audiences across the nation alongside their new “fiery, cheerful, octopus-like drummer”, John Hoffman. This summer, 24 major venues across North America will have the pleasure of experiencing the insane musical renaissance that is Primus for themselves. The ‘Onward & Upward Summer Tour 2025’ is set to rain down upon Paso Robles, California, early June 2025, keeping it weird and wonderful from coast to coast, before wrapping up in August in Sacramento, California, with a celebratory two-night stint with Channel 24. 

Primus is hitting the stage with guns a-blazin’ this summer - and they are one of those bands everyone simply has to experience at least once in their lives. They are unmatched - slightly psychedelic, mildly funky, very dark, super authentic, and extremely quirky, but most of all, brings a stunning eclectic journey of sound to their slightly cult-ish crowds whenever they are up there, delivering the goods. Their genre? Maybe a mixture of progressive rock, metal, grunge, and pure chaos, but best described as one of entirely their own. Add the facts that Primus are musical masters that can make their musical instruments speak in tongues, geniuses that employ musical theory that will baffle even the most educated, and have a chemistry a band can only achieve from playing together for years, and you have a concert experience unlike anything you've ever experienced before!

Primus will be supported on tour by Ty Segall on selected dates, but at Connecticut’s premier entertainment venue, the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheatre, the equally bold and idiosyncratic MonoNeon, best known for bangers such as ‘Invisible’ and ‘Hot Cheetos’ will be taking the stage as their special guest. The venue boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound, incredible vibes, and seating spread across various levels and in different proximities to the stage, all with spectacular views, offering the best concert experience ever!
