Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater Rules
Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater has certain rules and regulations that must be followed by all visitors attending the venue. These rules are in place to keep guests, staff and performers safe and happy during their time in the amphitheater.
Make sure that you have read and understand the following regulations before you attend the venue.
Alcohol policy
Outside alcohol is not allowed into the venue, but there are a range of alcoholic beverages available to purchase on the premises.
You will need to have a current, valid state ID card or driver’s license if you want to buy alcohol while at the venue. This will have to be shown before every purchase. If you fail to provide the correct identification, you will not be permitted to buy alcohol.
Bag policy
The only types of bags that are allowed within the venue are clear vinyl, clear plastic or clear PVC tote bags. These bags must not be any larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.
Small clutch bags are also permitted, but they must be bigger than 6 inches by 9 inches. These bags do not need to be clear.
Camera policy
Disposable cameras, camera phones and small digital cameras are allowed within the venue. However, any camera that is considered professional is not permitted. If a camera has a detachable lens that is longer than 1 inch, it will be considered professional.
Make sure to check the details of the event that you are planning to attend beforehand, as some artists do not allow any cameras while performing.
Cancellation policy
The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater will only cancel events in the case of an act of God, an artist cancellation or extreme weather. Local media will be notified if a cancellation occurs.
Information on reschedules and further details will be provided. Those who have experienced a cancellation will also be able to claim a refund at the point of purchase if necessary.
Cashless policy
Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is an entirely cashless venue. Purchases at the venue can only be paid via credit or debit card.
The merchandise and main concession stands only accept payments from American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa credit cards.
Emergency procedures
Trained paramedics are available to help with any medical emergencies that might occur at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater. You can also find the First Aid station on the lower concourse of the venue. Any staff member is able to dispatch to the First Aid station, as long as they have a radio.
As well as paramedics, local law enforcement officers will also be on site at every event. They will be available to assist with any issues if they are needed, or if they are requested by guests, staff or performers.
The Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater works closely with each of the appropriate emergency services and agencies so that all areas of emergency issues are covered. This ranges from crowd control problems to dangerous weather.
Fan mail policy
The venue will do its best to deliver any fan mail that guests want to give to performers or any other appropriate parties. However, it cannot be guaranteed that the fan mail will be received by the artist.
Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater is not responsible for the return of any fan mail that is sent to a performing artist.
Guest conduct policy
Those attending the venue must abide by the guest code of conduct at all times. This conduct requires guests to behave in a respectable manner and act according to local and state laws.
If a guest is thought to be acting against the code of conduct, they may be evicted from the premises. Local or state law violations may result in punishment from law enforcement.
Lost and found
If an item is lost while you are attending the venue, head over to the Guest Services area, as this is where any lost items are stored.
The Guest Services reception is manned from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Assistance is not available outside of these hours. Guests can also email the venue at [email protected] to check if the item has been checked in at the lost and found.
You are not allowed to come into the venue to search for a lost item by yourself. Items that are stored in lost and found will be kept for thirty days. After that, they will be donated to local charities, so make sure to check as soon as possible if you lose an item while visiting.
Medical needs
As mentioned, trained paramedics are available during events at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater. First Aid is also available in the aforementioned lower concourse.
Ambulances are on site during events so that guests can be transported as quickly as possible if necessary.
Guests who need to bring specific medication with them should do so with the original prescription labels and containers. Security or staff may need to examine this information for verification. Because of this, confirmation of necessity for personal medical use – such as via documentation signed by a medical professional – is also required.
If your medication requires the use of a needle, make sure to take it to the medical office so that it can be disposed of properly.
